Intermarché chooses Tlantic Workforce Management for time management

The search for greater operational efficiency, balance between the employees' professional and personal life and better customer service led Tlantic and Intermarche to form a partnership. Tlantic's Human Resources solution, Tlantic Workforce Management (TWFM), with Planning and Execution modules, will be implemented in the chain's stores. Its predictive algorithms and fault tolerance of the tool will ensure a more efficient time management, estimating the work needs and providing greater flexibility and balance for management and employees.


Intermarché is the first historical insignia of the “Os Musketeers” group to operate throughout Europe for over 40 years. In Portugal for more than 29 years, it now has more than 255 points of sale, spread over more than 180 municipalities, in the 18 districts of the country. It is the only Group managed directly by independent entrepreneurs, who are owners and fully responsible for the management of each store, and who benefit from a set of common structures for sales, logistics, commercial management, development, quality, among others.


Tlantic has been serving food and non-food retail internationally since 2004. Over the years, it has consolidated three domains of competence and software:


1. Management of store operations with Tlantic Mobile;


2. Support for sales operations and customer relations at the cash desk with Tlantic Store Sales Services;


3. Sizing and managing work teams with Tlantic Workforce Management.


The Tlantic Workforce Management solution supports workforce management based on forecasting algorithms and team dimensioning concepts. Using modern statistical models and artificial intelligence, it proposes schedules for a more adequate organization of work, focusing on the real needs of the operation and ensuring effective communication. The results have already been demonstrated in a sustained manner: reduced management effort, lower costs, increased productivity, better revenue and employee satisfaction, in addition to ensuring compliance with all labor legislation. The solution also contributes to support new initiatives and continuous improvement challenges.
